Louie: A Lobster's Tale (A Short Biography)

I live with my parents at the bottom of the ocean, just off the coast of a wonderful little island, Prince Edward Island, Canada. I am the oldest of 500 brothers and sisters (split pretty much 50/50) and have about 10,000 little cousins scattered all around the ocean floor.

  I am fairly active both in and out of school. After years of learning to type (I kept snapping in half every pen and pencil I tried) and yes, it does take years when all you have to work with are two very strong claws, I started the school's newspaper called "The School Newspaper" (one edition per year). Though we are better with keyboards than pencils, our claws are not the best for fine motor skill activities and as a result it takes us about 2 weeks to research and plan our stories for the newspaper and 50 weeks to type them up.

All year round I captain a team in the LLL (Lobster Lacrosse League). For the record, we started with hockey but our goalies kept splitting the pucks in two whenever they did a glove stop - it was pure economics, we simply could not afford the 100 or so pucks we were going through a game.
